Chocochip Soft Cookies (by @lim_henni)
Material :
- 1 PC large size egg
- 120 gr palm sugar (me: 75gr)
- 100 gr powdered sugar (me: 50gr)
- 170 gr butter mix margarine
- 320 gr low protein flour
- 20 gr milk powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Chocochips according to taste.
Method :
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper, set aside
- Sift flour + milk + baking powder + baking soda + vanilla powder mix well
- Mixer butter + palm sugar + powdered sugar for a while or you can mix it with a spatula
- Add in the eggs, just mix well (don't over mix)
- Add the flour + salt mixture, stir with a spatula
- Enter the chocochips, mix well
- Wrap in plastic wrap, store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Spoon the dough into the pan (I use an ice cream scoop)
- Bake for about 15 minutes at 180 (don't take too long, as long as the bottom part of the cookies starts to brown)
- Remove from the oven, leave on the baking sheet until the cookies have hardened a bit, let cool on a cooling rack
NOTE: to make soft cookies don't bake too long, at first the cookies are a bit soft, but after letting it sit for a while the cookies will set.
