Made these Scalloped Potatoes recently and they were a hit! Creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. They're now a favorite side dish in our house!

Ingredients:

4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
Arrange half of the potato slices in the bottom of the prepared dish, overlapping slightly.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Continue to cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Pour half of the sauce over the potatoes in the dish.
Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce.
Layer the remaining potato slices on top. Pour the remaining sauce and sprinkle the remaining cheeses.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
