This dish tastes just as delicious as it sounds. A perfect comfort meal that will come together in no time. Simple ingredients that pack a lot of flavors. The super tender gnocchi is mixed with a creamy garlicky, mushroom sauce and then topped with fresh parsley and grated parmesan. How can you even resist something soo delicious?

RECIPE

Ingredients:
16 oz, potato gnocchi
16 oz, mixed mushrooms (I used baby Bella and porcini mushrooms) sliced
6-8 cloves of garlic, minced
1 medium onion, minced
2 tbsp, butter
2 tbsp, olive oil
Salt, to taste
1 tsp, fresh cracked black pepper or to taste
1/2 cup, heavy cream
1/2 cup, of chicken stock
1/2 cup, grated parmesan
1/4 cup, parsley, chopped

Instructions:
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Once the butter melts, add minced garlic and onion. Saute them for a couple of minutes on medium heat. Add in the sliced mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken stock. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer on low heat for about 4 mins. Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Add cooked, drained gnocchi to the mushroom sauce along with half a cup of freshly grated parmesan. Turn the heat off and gently stir to combine everything. Spoon it out in bowls and top with fresh chopped parsley and more grated parmesan. Enjoy!
